What is Bounty Boss?
A task-and-points app for families, groups, and schools. Grown-ups create chores as quests, kids complete them to earn points, and points unlock rewards you set up.
How do points work?
Each task is worth points. When a kid marks a task done, a grown-up approves it (or it auto-approves if you turn that on) and the points are added. Points can be spent on rewards.
How do I add my kids?
As the owner, open the Family section (called Class or Roster for kindergartens and schools) and add a kid with a username and password. Kids sign in with that — no email needed.
Do kids need an email address?
Kids don't — they sign in with a username and password you create, no email needed. Assistants (co-parents or teachers) do use an email: you set their email and password and share them, so they can sign in and reset their own password if they forget it.
Is it only for families?
No. Bounty Boss works for families, groups (clubs, scouts), kindergartens, and small schools. You pick the type when you sign up, and the wording adapts — kids/students, parents/teachers, family/class — along with higher member limits for larger groups.
Can I organize members into classes?
Yes, for kindergartens and schools. Create classes, bulk-add a whole roster at once (each student gets a printable username and password), assign students to a class, and scope a teacher to their own class so they only see and manage their students.
Can rewards be points or real money?
Both. In Settings you choose how balances show: a whole-number points score (“150 Stars”) or real money in your currency ($1.50). It's display only — you can switch anytime without losing anything.
What are badges?
Badges reward kids for milestones — streaks, chore mastery, point totals, and more. They're collectible trophies that live on a kid's profile, and repeatable ones show how many times they've been earned. Badges are a Plus feature.
What is the difference between Free and Plus?
Free includes all the core features with generous member limits that scale by type (a family starts with 3 kids and 1 assistant; groups and schools get more). Plus raises those limits and unlocks the full 100-avatar and color packs, the badge collection, and cheers.
How much does Plus cost?
Plus is $39.99 per year or $4.99 per month, with two months free on the annual plan. One subscription covers your whole group — there are no per-member fees.
Can tasks repeat or have due dates?
Yes. Tasks can repeat daily, weekly, or on specific days, and any task can have a due date. Everything shows up on the shared calendar.
What is Team Quest?
A shared goal the whole crew works toward together. Everyone's effort counts, and reaching the target unlocks a reward for everyone.
Can kids suggest their own rewards?
Yes. Kids can add rewards to a wishlist, and you approve the ones you want to offer in the shop.
Will we get reminders?
Yes. Bounty Boss can send push notifications and email reminders for due tasks, approvals, and announcements. You choose which ones are on.
Can I install it like an app?
Yes. Bounty Boss is a progressive web app — add it to your home screen on a phone or tablet and it works like a native app, with no app store required.

How do I delete my account or a kid's account?
Owners can remove any member from the Family section. To delete your whole account, see the Data & Account Deletion page.
