Children's Privacy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Bounty Boss is built for families and operated under parental control. We take children’s privacy seriously and design the app to collect as little information as possible. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy.
Parents create and control kid accounts
Children do not sign up on their own. A parent creates each child’s account and manages it. Parents can view, edit, or delete a child’s profile and data at any time from the Family section of the app.
What we collect for children
- A username and display name chosen by the parent or child.
- An avatar and background color.
- An optional birthday (used for birthday features).
- In-app activity such as tasks completed, points, streaks, and badges.
We do not collect an email address, phone number, or precise location for children, and we do not ask children for personal contact information.
What we never do
- No advertising and no ad-based tracking.
- No selling or sharing of children’s data for marketing.
- No behavioral profiling of children.
Parental rights and choices
As a parent you can review your child’s information, correct it, remove the account, and revoke access at any time. Removing a managed account deletes its associated data.
Compliance
We aim to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and children’s provisions of the EU GDPR (GDPR-K). If you believe we have collected information from a child in a way that is not consistent with this notice, contact us and we will address it promptly.
