What is Bounty Boss?
A family task-and-points app. Parents create chores as quests, kids complete them to earn points, and points unlock rewards you set up.
How do points work?
Each task is worth points. When a kid marks a task done, a parent approves it (or it auto-approves if you turn that on) and the points are added. Points can be spent on rewards.
How do I add my kids?
As the household owner, open the Family section and add a kid with a username and password. Kids sign in with that — no email needed.
Do kids need an email address?
No. Kid and assistant accounts use a username and password created by the parent.
What are badges?
Badges reward kids for milestones — streaks, chore mastery, point totals, and more. Kids can keep a badge or trade it in for points. Badges are a Plus feature.
What is the difference between Free and Plus?
Free covers up to 3 kids, 1 assistant, 10 avatars, and all the core features. Plus unlocks more members, the full avatar and color packs, the badge collection, and cheers.
How much does Plus cost?
Plus is $39.99 per year or $4.99 per month, with two months free on the annual plan. One subscription covers your whole household — there are no per-child fees.
Can tasks repeat or have due dates?
Yes. Tasks can repeat daily, weekly, or on specific days, and any task can have a due date. Everything shows up on the family calendar.
What is Team Quest?
A shared goal the whole family works toward together. Everyone's effort counts, and reaching the target unlocks a reward for the household.
Can kids suggest their own rewards?
Yes. Kids can add rewards to a wishlist, and you approve the ones you want to offer in the shop.
Will we get reminders?
Yes. Bounty Boss can send push notifications and email reminders for due tasks, approvals, and announcements. You choose which ones are on.
Can I install it like an app?
Yes. Bounty Boss is a progressive web app — add it to your home screen on a phone or tablet and it works like a native app, with no app store required.
Is our family's data safe?
Yes. We collect as little as possible, never sell your data, and show no ads. See our Privacy Policy and Children's Privacy notice for details.
How do I delete my account or a kid's account?
Owners can remove any member from the Family section. To delete your whole household, see the Data & Account Deletion page.
Which languages are supported?
English and Arabic (with full right-to-left layout), plus light and dark mode.
